Mumau Barn

This horse barn in Southern New Jersey near the shore serves not only as a shelter for resident horses, but also a classroom for the farm’s non-profit education program. The upstairs loft features a handrail observation deck, so students can see the horses in their stalls from above. The long shed dormer on the classroom side allows for plenty of headroom, and the two gabled dormers adjacent allow more light in, as well as the cupola adorning the roof. With full electric and plumbing, this smallish barn packs a punch in daylight or night.

It is worth noting a new feature on this barn; pvc framed vinyl windows! This allows for larger window area on the barn doors than we typically do, letting in more light. We hope to do more of this in the future!
